I'm seriously scared of the dark (and snakes and coyotes and weird people) but really wanted to see the super moon this year so I braved all that and hiked out in the desert to get some pictures. It was such a beautiful morning. I started at 4am in the pitch dark and the moon was amazing. So big and bright. But the best pictures happened as it started to get light and when the sun rose opposite the moon set and turned the moon bright pink....it was magic. I
